Network Central is an initiative of Centrum Events Pty Ltd which commenced in 1999. Over the years Centrum Events has successfully staged many events, ranging in size between ten and 2000 delegates, and engaged speakers ranging from the unsung heroes of the business world to the Prime Minister of Australia. Many of Australia’s leading companies and associations are among previous clients, including CCH Australia, St James Ethics Centre, Australian Business Limited, the National Speakers Association of Australia and many more.

Kim McGuinness, managing director of Network Central and Centrum Events is perhaps most widely recognised as the founder of The Businesswomen’s Breakfast Series, which began in March 1999 and has grown to become one of Australia’s premier women’s networking events. Each month Kim and her team host breakfasts in Sydney and Melbourne where businesswomen meet, network and exchange information in a civilised, soulful and connected way. Numbers at events are capped to allow genuine connection and a pleasant experience for everyone. Many companies book tables of ten at the breakfasts, inviting their clients and/or staff, and many attend on their own. Either way, the experience is unique, non-threatening and enjoyable. Networking facilitators are placed at each open table to ensure that introductions are made and guests are made to feel welcome. Each month, guest speakers are chosen for their contribution, inspirational message and experiential advice to the ever-increasing number of businesswomen in Australia.
